The Way in Which we Live.

"The way in which we live."

To tell you the truth, I shot these photos without anything in mind, heading into the woods with only the knowledge of my desire to capture something with deep colors and fragile honesty. My friend Alena and I meandered about, experimenting with angles, shutter speeds, and the sheer vulnerability of exposed wrists. After quickly editing the batch afterwards, six photos surfaced as my favorites of the bunch. It was only then that I began drafting my concept on paper.

I had a difficult time. I didn't know which set of words would successfully encompass the feelings I had while stitching the photos together. I didn't know what I wanted those words to say.

Finally, I came up with this:

The Way in Which we Live,

if you go about the world using the hands with which you blind yourself, are you truly living?
